The Lui-Chi’s Experience

An old world experience, wood, leather and brass, bowler hats and plaid. We have a unique cafe experience, bringing the whole craft of coffee back to its hands on ways.

Before we even opened, Lui-Chi’s Coffee won the Metro Community Choice 2018 Awards in 2 different categories, in Best Cafe/Bistro and Best Food Truck in Edmonton.

Our Coffee

Our beans are sourced from Latin America and from Eastern Africa” The beans are then placed into whiskey barrels for 90 days, then roasted over an open fire to just past the “first crack.”

Lui-Chi’s

Started out as a little Espresso truck on Jasper Ave Edmonton. Then moved to the DT core of Edmonton in the summer of 2018. After just a year on the Edmonton streets, Lui-Chi’s added its first brick and mortar location in the

Phipps McKinnon building on Rice Howard Way! Now called Connect Tower. We now have three locations in Edmonton’s downtown core!

I Have been in the coffee business for over 15 years and have a passion for old world coffee roasting and crafting. After working many years in the corporate arena I decided it was time to do what I love! In the summer of 2017 I built Edmonton’s first Espresso bar on wheels.

Lui-Chi’s Wood roasted Whiskey Barrel Aged Espresso! 2018 I built my first Espresso bar in Phipps McKinnon building, now called Connect Tower. Follow your dreams, love what you do and share it with others. There’s more to come!
